How Do Virtual Runners Submit Their Results?

The Golden State 5K Virtual + Tracking App is a virtual race option for the Golden State 5K event, allowing participants to run a 5-kilometer distance at their own location and pace. This option includes access to the Race Joy tracking app that enables runners to monitor their progress and submit their race results. Participants will receive a commemorative Golden State 5K t-shirt and medal upon completion. Virtual runners must submit their results between April 6 and May 6, 2025.

Virtual runners must enter your race-assigned bib number to automatically submit your finish data for real-time scored results.

Note: To use RaceJoy, you must carry your phone and activate tracking on the day you complete your race. Additional information can be found here.
